The almost 40,000 square foot Physical Education Complex at EGSC houses our gymnasium and Fitness Center. Our facilities also encompass our baseball and softball fields, tennis courts, cross country course and 18-hole disc golf course.

In addition to athletic events, the P.E. Complex is home to the Military Resource Center, student classrooms, student events, and is the home of our bi-annual Commencement ceremonies. The facility is available for use by the community with reservations by request.

Recreation Complex

Located in the physical education complex, the fitness center gives you a wide array of cardio and strength-training machines and free weights to help you become a healthier you! The fitness center is designed to provide health and recreational services to students, faculty, staff, and community residents of Emanuel County. Feel free to visit us and see what we can offer you!

Piney Woods Disc Golf Course is both challenging and fun, with mature trees and a naturalized atmosphere, alongside beautiful Pa's Pond. The course begins at the gazebo side of the pond and winds through the perimeter of the pond. The dam at Pa's Pond marks the finish of the 18-hole layout. We hope you enjoy our course.

The tennis complex consists of six lighted courts, including a stadium court.

The Physical Education Department offers beginner tennis each semester. Class size is limited.

East Georgia State College houses a 5K Cross Country Course, which is 3.1 miles in length and winds through our beautiful Swainsboro campus.

Area teams, students, faculty and staff are encouraged to use this course for practices, meets and fun. The Physical Education classes will be using it regularly, but scheduling is flexible, and the course is open at all times.
